Taco or Fajita Spices for Beef or Chicken
Make you own taco seasoning with spices you probably already have.
5 minutes,   Seaoning for 1 pound of meat

Ingredients
1 ½ Tbsp Chili Powder (see notes for substitution option)
¼ tsp Garlic powder
¼ tsp Onion powder
¼ tsp Dried oregano, crushed with your fingers
½ tsp Paprika (or smoked Paprika)
1 ½ tsp Ground cumin
1 tsp Fresh ground black pepper
1 tsp Salt
Preparation
1.  Combine all ingredients
2.  Brown 1 pound of ground beef or chicken.
3.  Add spices and 1/4 cup of water. Simmer gently for at least 10 minutes until water is cooked off.
Notes
1.  No Chili powder? Substitute more of the other ingredients and add 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper.
2.  Add some accent / MSG for more umami flavor.
3.  Make adjusmtents to salt, pepper, and chili powder levels as you're simmering the meat.
