1.5 lb | Ribeye, new york strip, or chuck steak |
1 tsp | Oil |
¼ tsp | Salt |
½ tsp | Black pepper |
½ tsp | Garlic powder |
½ tsp | Onion powder |
1 tsp | Montreal steak seasoning |
spray | Nonstick spray |
⅛ tsp | Cayenne pepper |
1. Preheat the air fryer at 400 F for about 5 minutes. |
2. Meanwhile, trim the steak (1.5 lb) of any fat and cut it into 3/4 inch cubes. |
3. In a bowl, combine the steak cubes with the oil (1 tsp), salt (1/4 tsp), black pepper (1/2 tsp), montreal seasoning (1 tsp), onion powder (1/2 tsp), garlic powder (1/2 tsp), and the cayenne pepper (1/8 tsp) to create the marinade. |
4. Stir well for a minute to work the spices into the meat. |
5. Spray the bottom of the air fryer basket with nonstick spray. |
6. Spread the seasoned meat evenly along the bottom of the air fryer basket. |
7. Cook the steak tips for about 4-6 minutes. |

10. Cook for another 3 minutes. |
11. Remove and serve. |
